Linking early childhood development to literacy development

Professor Maureen Samms Vaughan, a Professor of Child Health, Child Development and Behaviour at the University Hospital of the West Indies, and Chairman of the Early Childhood Commission, was the moderator for the recently concluded Jamaica Partners for Educational Progress E-Discussion, EduExchange, held between March 13 and 15.  Members were invited to discuss how parents and education systems should go about developing literacy skills in early childhood.
