Master of Science - Computer Based Management Information Systems

The Master of Science in Management information Systems was developed in response to the rapidly growing demand for a new type of graduate student with an in-depth knowledge in management information systems and computer science. This demand arises from the increased of use of computer-based systems both in the financial and retail sectors, as well as government sectors. until now, this demand has been filled by graduates either in Management Studies, or in Computer Sciences, at the least as far junior positions are concerned.

Master of Science - Hospitality and Tourism Management

The Caribbean has been described by some as the world's most tourism dependent region and 2004 statistics indicate that almost 16% of total employment and almost 15% of the Caribbean's GDP came from tourism. The industry is not only growing in value to the region but becoming much more sophisticated and diverse. It will require talented, creative and well trained individuals to coordinate and manage it and your training at the UWI is designed to help prepare you for this task.
