The University of the West Indies Mona - Western Jamaica Campus (UWI-WJC) welcomes the pioneering group of students who will chart their journey at the newly established UWI-Western Jamaica Campus. You like the first class of thirty three students at the UWI, Mona Campus in 1948 will be a part of the University’s history.

The University of the West Indies-Western Jamaica Campus is being established in recognition of the growing demand for tertiary level educational institutions of distinction in western Jamaica and in keeping with the objectives of UWI’s 2007-2012 Strategic Plan.

UWI-WJC offers programmes in Hospitality and Tourism Management, Management Studies, Accounting, Management Information Systems, Banking and Finance, Psychology and Media and Communications (Public Relations). The programmes are specially designed to reflect the areas of significant growth and development in western Jamaica.
