Individual Consultations

The IDU offers advice to individual faculty members on a range of issues related to teaching and learning at the university level. These one-to-one consultations are available to all faculty who wish to explore new teaching methodologies and strategies to enhance their teaching. These consultations are designed to assist faculty in identifying their strengths and to provide advice to further improve teaching. In addition, faculty members may invite members of the IDU team to sit in on their classes as part of the effort to improve learning.

Departmental Consultations

Departments, through their Heads, are invited to request training programmes ranging from instructional to professional development issues that are tailored to the specific needs of their staff. The IDU will collaborate with Department Heads to design workshops and seminars for lecturers and tutors within individual departments. The IDU tries at all time to schedule training sessions at the convenience of the departments.
