Seminar: “The “Jamaican Livestock Industry: The Road Not Taken”

The Natural History Society of Jamaica presents a Seminar entitled: “The “Jamaican Livestock Industry: The Road Not Taken”.   The seminar will deal with the development of the livestock industry in Jamaica, the path taken and some alternatives which should be explored to achieve the most from the industry.  The seminar will be led by by Dr. Paul Jennings, the Principal Consulting Associate of MARJEN Consulting Group, a development consultancy with a focus on social entrepreneurship programs. He has in the recent past, provided consulting services to the World Bank and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations. He also serves as adjunct faculty and coordinator for a course in Tropical Livestock Development, which is part of the MSc Agricultural Entrepreneurship degree program of the University of the West Indies.Refreshments will be provided
