Student Seminar Slot
About
The student seminar slot meeting is a special event not only for research students (MPhil) and master students of the Department of Mathematics but also for any third year student potentially interested in starting her/his Mphil in the next future at our department. Content varies from meeting to meeting: broadly speaking we will treat different topics in mathematical physics, stochastics and fluid dynamics. Moreover, in this meetings students can deliver status reports from theses, reports from conferences, status of research projects, etc.
One of our primary goals is to keep in touch with each student. In addition to a personal supervisor every student can make use of this event to get support from all participating members of staff taking part to the seminar.
The participation to the seminar is free. Students of the Mathematics, Physics and Computer Science Departments are greatly encouraged to participate.
Location: Mathematics Lecture Theater
Time: Tuesday, 4:00 p.m. - 5 :00 p.m.
***The first preliminary meeting will take place Tuesday January 31.***

If you want to reserve a slot, notify the seminar coordinator. We meet every Tuesday even if there is no talk! If your presentation needs a beamer or projector, notify the seminar coordinator several days beforehand.
