British Caribbean Insurance Company (BCIC) is pleased to announce the appointment of Professor Lila Rao-Graham to its board of directors, on January 31. Professor Rao-Graham brings a wealth of expertise in strategic business intelligence, data for development and data and knowledge management, areas crucial for navigating the evolving insurance landscape.

“We are thrilled to welcome Professor Rao-Graham to our board,” said BCIC Board Chairman Vikram Dhiman. “Her impressive academic background, combined with her extensive experience in facilitating data-driven decision-making, will be invaluable as we continue to innovate and deliver products and services that fit our customers’ needs.

Rao-Graham is a professor of information systems at the Mona School of Business and Management at The University of the West Indies, Mona. She is the holder of the GraceKennedy S. Carlton Alexander Chair in Management Studies at UWI, Mona. Her research spans business intelligence, data quality, decision support systems, and big data for development.
