Postgraduate Programmes

Master of Science Nursing (MScN)

The MScN degree programme is designed to provide knowledge, attitudes, and skills appropriate to the demands of the expanding role of advanced nurses in the essential functional and clinical areas of Nursing Administration, Nursing Education, and Advanced Nursing Practice as a Clinical Specialist or Nurse Practitioner.

The MScN programme is offered to BScN degree graduates who hold registration/licensure in their current jurisdiction of practice; can verify first licensure/registration if it is different from that which is currently held, and is eligible for licensure/registration in any of the countries served by the UWI. Master's education is essential for roles in advanced nursing practice, education, and management, and provides the foundation for doctoral education.

Our faculty is committed to excellence in teaching, research, and community service, and serves as leaders in professional nursing organizations and as mentors to current students and alumni.
