Inter-Hall Competitions

All the Inter-Hall competitions are contested with the usual fever. Many times, there are concerns with respect to the intense rivalry.

Inter-Collegiate Competitions

Inter Collegiate sports is contested by all tertiary level institutions at the college and university levels.

  Inter-Campus Games Competitions

The Inter Campus Games not only facilitates healthy competition, but brings groups of students from the three Campuses together as “one institution”.

The 23rd Inter Campus Game was hosted by Mona, between February 25 and March 4, after St Augustine indicated its inability to host the competition. Six sports were contested – men’s cricket, basketball and football while the females contested volleyball and netball. Males and females participated in track and field. Mona won five of the six sports contested, losing football to Cave Hill. The results saw Mona being awarded the Sir Frank Worrell Trophy for the 13th tie.

National Competitions

Currently, UWI Mona competes in five national competitions – cricket, football, volleyball and table tennis. Participation at this level presents students with greater Challenges and provides opportunities for individual excellence as well as for marketing the institution nationally.
