A Major in Alternative Energy requires 32 Part II credits consisting of twenty (20) credits from the following Core Courses :
Core Courses:
- PHYS2385 Electricity, Magnetism & Optics
- PHYS2670 Fluid Dynamics
- PHYS3660 Atmosphere and Climate
- PHYS3670 Solar Power
- PHYS3680 Wind and Hydro Power
- ELET3610 Integrating Alternative Energy
Plus
Eight (8) credits or any two or three (2/3) of the following courses:
Elective Courses:
- ELET2420 Solid State Electronics Devices
- ELET2470 Electric Circuit Analysis
- ELET3430 Instrumentation and Measurement
- PHYS2395 Computer Applications in Physics
- PHYS3385 Electromagnetism
