General Physics
For students beginning their UWI journey in the 2011/12 academic year, the major that applies to you can be found here.
A Major in General Physics requires 32 Part II credits consisting of sixteen (16) credits of the following Core Courses:
Level 2
- PHYS2350 Modern Physics I
- PHYS2385 Electricity, Magnetism & Optics
- PHYS2395 Computer Applications in Physics
Level 3
Plus
Twelve (12) credits or any three (3) Elective courses from the following:

- PHYS3395 Astronomy and Cosmology
- PHYS3399 Research Project (Non Electronics)
- PHYS3660 Atmosphere and Climate
- PHYS3670 Solar Power
A Minor in General Physics requires eight (8) credits of the following Core Courses:
