The Department of Physics and the Environmental Health Unit (EHU) of the Ministry of Health have entered into a collaborative agreement for a Mercury Inventory Project. The project will lead to a better understanding of the extent of the use of mercury-containing equipment in public health care facilities. The Medical Physics Research Unit headed by Dr. Mitko Voutchkov will spearhead the collaboration for the Department.
