The Physics Department and the Mona Physics Alumni Association held a career talk last Thursday where several Physics Department alumni talked about what they use everyday, since leaving the department. 

Physics alumni work at various places in corporate Jamaica, like LIME, Digicel, Deviant X and UWI, and use the skills learnt while studying here, regularly. Some are entrepeneurs and others have multiple jobs and titles.  Some alumni have even made the leap into finance from Physics.

The talks were well-attended and many positive reviews were given. The department is planning to make this an annual event, so listen out for the next one!
