Social Work Practicum II

This course offers supervised placements involving working with individuals, families, treatment or social groups, or community organizations in programmes which have primarily a rehabilitative, a social development or a social action focus. These may be in any of the following types of settings: Clinical, Child and Family, Education, Counselling and Rehabilitation and Community. Weekly field integrative seminars will seek to enhance the students' learning through sharing of experiences, discussion of cases to integrate theory with practice, building network systems for more efficient practice and an introduction to the fine art of peer group supervision  (Duration 320 hours).
