SPAN1108 (S11H): SPANISH FOR THE HOSPITALITY INDUSTRY 11

This course aims to strengthen the socio-linguistic and communicative skills acquired in S10H. Role-play activities are used to give students practice in culturally appropriate and accurate social communication in typical hospitality situations.  At the end of the course students will be able to do the following in Spanish: Make reservations at a hotel, Book rooms for guests, Provide general information on hotel and activities in the town/city, Describe restaurants and hotels, Talk about their daily routines, Express emotions and opinions, Discuss Jamaican and Hispanic cuisine, Identify different types of restaurants and what they serve, Describe articles sold in clothing stores and craft stores, Talk about events in the past, and Give advice
