Dr. Dian McCallum is a lecturer in History Education. She holds a first degree in History and Social Sciences and two Masters Degrees: a M.A. in History and a M. A. in Heritage Studies; all from the Department of History at the University of the West Indies Mona Campus. She obtained her Diploma in Education from the Department of Educational Studies, UWI, Mona and her doctorate in Educational Research from the University of Sheffield, England.  Her research interests include beginning teacher induction and mentoring as well as teaching and assessment with specific emphasis in the field of History Education
