Diminutive Incision Acromioplasty Assisted with Arthroscopy in the Treatment of Chinese Patients with Subacromial Impingement Syndrome

Issue:
DOI:
10.7727/wimj.2014.308
Pages:
165-170
Synopsis:
The present study on 22 Chinese patients with subacromial impingement syndrome showed that a dminutive incision acromioplasty assisted with arthroscopy is a reliable approach to treat subacromial impingement syndrome.

Mass Spectrometric Analysis of Cerebrospinal Fluid Protein for Glioma and its Clinical Applications

DOI:
10.7727/wimj.2015.233
Synopsis:
The combination of SELDI-TOF-MS and bioinformatics tools is a very effective method for screening and identifying new marker of glioma. The established diagnosis models have provided a new way for the clinical diagnosis of glioma, especially for qualitative diagnosis.

ABSTRACT

Objective: To establish and evaluate the fingerprint diagnostic models of cerebrospinal protein profile in glioma Using surface-enhanced laser desorption/ionization time-of-flight mass spectrometry (SELDI-TOF-MS) and bioinformatics analysis, for seeking new tumor markers.

Analysis of the Prevalence and Risk Factors of Gestational Diabetes Mellitus Using Novel Diagnostic Criteria

Issue:
DOI:
10.7727/wimj.2015.017
Pages:
41–5
Synopsis:
The prevalence rate of GDM in China under the new diagnostic criteria was determined. In this study, these new diagnostic criteria were used to survey the prevalence of GDM and analyse the risk factors to determine the appropriate intervention treatment for GDM.
ABSTRACTS

Objective: The aim of this study was to investigate the prevalence of gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) and analyse its risk factors using the International Association of Diabetes in Pregnancy Study Groups’ diagnostic criteria.
