Dr. Trench is a Marine Biologist and ecologist with over 20 years experience. He may be contacted for information on academic resources, research activities and opportunities, internships, boat use, diving and hyperbaric chamber operations; and assistance with coordinating your visit to DBML.
Before joining the Centre, Dr. Trench served as a High School science teacher and a national training facilitator in Environmental Awareness and the Flora and Fauna of Jamaica. He also has experience in aquaculture as a shrimp hatchery technician and manager. He assumed the position of Scientific Officer at the Port Royal Marine Laboratory and later transitioned to DBML as Chief Scientific Officer.
