Ms. Leneka Rhoden, a graduate student in Life Sciences, represented Jamaica at the 2022 United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP27) from November 8-18, 2022 in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt. She served as a panellist and lead session facilitators at the International Universities Climate Alliance and also participated in a panel discussion at the Commonwealth Blue Charter’s Side Event on Climate Finance and Green Energy. 

Professor Mona Webber presented at the Kingston Harbour Ecosystem Adaptation Measures (KHEAM) project workshop held at the Jamaica Conference Centre, Friday November 18, 2022. The presentation titled “Kingston Harbour Mangrove Restoration; Challenges, Solutions and lessons Learnt”, represented work done by the CMS as partners responsible for mangrove restoration and rehabilitation.
