The staff (27 persons) of the Building Services Sections includes plumbers, painters, joiners as well as persons trained in general building maintenance.  

The Building Services provided include:

• routine inspection of plumbing systems, roofs, and other structural components of buildings;
• routine inspections and identification of repair needs in the water distribution and sewage systems;
• general maintenance, minor repairs and modifications requiring skills in plumbing, carpentry, joinery, welding, masonry, painting, and other trades;
• repainting staff houses and faculty structures on the basis of a scheduled preventive maintenance programme; and
• infrastructure expansion and upgrading for water supply, sewerage, roadways and parking lots.
