Cognisant of the need to conserve energy, the University has implemented measures to maximise energy and reduce its input factors.  These include, but are not limited to:
 

1. The use of recyled water on major lawns such as that the Chapel
2. The installation of occupancy sensors in buildings
3. Retrofitting of lighting fixtures
4. Retrofitting of air conditioning units
5. The installation of low flush toilets in heavily trafficked areas
6. Smart metering for electricity
