Synopsis: 
This paper focussed on the detection of TCR Vα and TCR Vβ skewness of patients with Type 1 diabetes. In the results, we found that there were skewed genes in the TCR Vα and TCR Vβ. In our opinion, these skewed genes are probably relative to the onset of Type 1 diabetes.

ABSTRACT

Objective: To find the characteristics of QT interval dispersion (QTd) in obesity-related hypertensive patients.

Methods: The study comprised 73 obesity-related hypertensive patients (group A), 58 nonobesity-related hypertensive patients (group B) and 105 healthy persons as control (group C). The maximum QT interval (QTmax), minimum QT interval (QTmin) and QTd were compared.

ABSTRACT

Objective: To prove the effectiveness and feasibility of a paclitaxel hirudin complex and to provide experimental data on the prevention of restenosis, we investigated the effects of paclitaxel hirudin complexes on the growth of human coronary artery smooth muscle cells (HCASMCs) and endothelial cells (HCAECs) in vitro.

Laparoscopic Pancreaticoduodenectomy - Experiences of 40 Cases

Synopsis: 
Laparoscopic pancreaticoduodenectomy (LPD) was still one of the most challenging endoscopic surgeries by far and there were still some technical problems to be resolved. In this study, we try to investigate the difficulties and countermeasures of the LPD using a retrospective analysis for the surgical techniques of the LPD carried out for 40 patients in our hospital from December 2009 to Jul 2015 and the clinical data such as operative time, intra-operative blood loss, numbers of scavenged lymph node and postoperative complications were collected. The result showed that application of appropriate surgical approach, improvement of the resection of UP and modification of the pancreaticojejunostomy(PJ) could make the LPD easier and safer.

ABSTRACT

 We report a case of a patient with AIDS and a brain abscess caused by aspergillus, who underwent neurosurgical excision of the lesion and received subsequent therapy with voriconazole. The patient suffered from intracranial hypertension and visual disorders.

Treatment of One Case with Cryoglobulinaemia Secondary to Connective Tissue Disease by Small Doses of Rituximab

Abstract

Objective: This study aims to observe the clinical efficacy of low-dose rituximab patients with cryoglobulinaemia secondary to connective tissue diseases.

Methods: Rituximab (100 mg) was infused in patients once a week for four weeks, combined with prednisone (20 mg) once a day and reduced regularly. The treatment effect was observed regularly.

The Training on Medical Corpsmen for Tracheal Intubation and Tracheotomy Using SimMan Simulation and Living Goats

We used simulator and goats to train military medics on skills of tracheal intubation and tracheotomy. Such training programme significantly improved both theoretical knowledge and practical skills of all medics. This method can be widely promoted after further optimization.
