The Life Sciences Honours Society (LSHS) seeks to recognize outstanding performance in the discipline and was created as a way of encouraging students of the Life Sciences to aim higher and achieve more. The Society’s main goal is for its members to graduate with high honours (First or Upper Second Class).
The Institute of Jamaica (IOJ) hosted its annual Musgrave Medal Awards Ceremony on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at the Philip Sherlock Centre for the Creative Arts, The UWI Mona. Ten distinguished Jamaicans who have done stellar work in their respective fields were honoured for their contribution to literature, science and the arts. Among them were Dr. Eric Garraway, Lecturer and Entomologist in Life Sciences who was awarded the Silver Musgrave Medal for Science.
