Santos FC totally outplayed UWI FC in a 2-0 victory today in the Alliance Finance/ Mckay Security KSAFA under 20 football league at the UWI Mona Bowl. From the start to finish Santos FC dominated the match while UWI appeared to be lethargic in the first half of the match. Santos was rewarded for their brilliant play with a well taken goal in the 18 yard box in the 14th minute when Clive Jarrett scored. While UWI continued to falter, Santos doubled their lead when the fleet footed Terrick Burke totally outran the UWI defence line and easily slotted the ball into the back of the net. In the second half of the match, UWI came out energized and with more purpose as they tried to reduce the two goal deficient. They created chances but were not clinical in front of goal. In the 85th minute, UWI won a penalty but failed to score. This added to the frustration of the UWI team.
