Netball

  • THOUGH not referred to as one of the mainstream sporting disciplines, like football or track and field, netball at the UWI, Mona has boasted several victories at the Inter-Campus and Inter-Collegiate levels over the years. The structure of the programme, under the coaching of Conrad Parks, is such that there are great expectations for the academic year and the nurturing of both new and developing talent is always a forefront criteria of the programme.

    Some major accomplishments of the team: 09/10 and 2010/2011 Florida Netball Champions, 2009/2010 Supreme Ventures JNA Divisional 'A' League Champions, 2010/2011 Intercollegiate Champions, 2010/2011 JNA Open League Champions.
